In the absence of transmission this point can be determined by Argos reports.
Jean Luc Van Den Heede has traced a theoretical route and arbitrarilyfixed waypoints which allow the distance covered in 24 hours and the distance remaining to be covered to be determined.
VDH is himself calculating the difference between his position and that of Philippe Monnet daily.
